The DFW Youth Hockey Oversight Committee establishes tryout dates each year that must be followed by all participating area Associations. The following dates have been set for the 2008/2009 season:
TRYOUT SCHEDULE
Level: Tier I (All Except Midget U16 and U18)
Level: Tier II and House/Rec (All Except Midget U16 and U18)
Level: Tier I Midget Major U18
Level: Tier I Midget Minor U16
Level: Tier II and House/Rec Midget U18 and U16
Please note that Tier I, Tier II and House/Rec are the official USA Hockey classifications. They in no way refer to any B, A, AA or AAA status.
2008-2009 New Provision:
High School Associations that also form travel teams must abide by the above dates. NO portion of their tryouts, for travel or High School teams, may precede the above timeline.
