What Brahmas Curse?  

 Whispers had pointed out that no Brahmas team had ever won a league title. Well, you can now put that silly urban legend in the same column as Boston’s Curse of the Bambino.
 

The Regular season champion Jr Brahmas Midget Minor team won the NTXHL League championship this weekend, beating a scrappy DJHA Penguins team, in the first two (best of three) games on Saturday.  Game number one was a nail-biter as the Pens led 1-0 thru the first 42 minutes. Then the Brahmas did what they have done all season long, they found their way to win. Two goals within 36 seconds put game #1 in the win column. 

Later that day, the game seemed in hand when DJHA rallied with two goals to tighten the score at 4-3.  Another 3^rd period Brahmas goal, and the victory was sealed, 5-3.
 

The boys and the coaches had a great season, with a league games record of 25-1.  Congrats to the team!
 

Now, it’s time to cheer on the big Brahmas in their quarterfinal playoffs!
